After lots of searching, hunting and pecking, surprising finds (and one very helpful person with just the right information), we now know that at least 40 public TV stations in the US have bought the Christopher Eccleston Doctor Who episodes. There will be a special edition of TWIDW later this week giving some further information on how this package works, and hopefully all the stations will be properly integrated into the column for next week. BBC Kids http://www.bbckids.ca is now splitting weekend 6 part stories into 2, airing 3 episodes on one night and 3 episodes the next weekend night. Previously they had been airing complete stories. The week of 12 to 16 March sees the 10PM Eastern slot pre-empted for Beauty and The Geek UK and the 2AM Eastern slot pre-empted by movies, with Doctor Who only at 5 or 5:30AM. Doctor Who returns to its normal time periods on 19 March. |
